How it works?
The front panel opens and the Fast Cooling mode cools the entire room quickly and evenly.
The set temperature is reached in rapid cooling mode and the front panel closes.

WindFree™ technology improves your comfort indoors using thousands of micro-holes to evenly diffuse fresh air without any cold drafts. In WindFree™ mode, air is gently diffused creating a “Still Air” environment that provides well-being, day and night.
Smart operation
AI Auto Comfort introduces a smart way to live. Analyzes usage conditions and patterns, then automatically adjusts the temperature. The temperature can also be set via the SmartThings app.
Energy efficiency
Samsung's compressor with Digital Inverter Boost technology that reduces energy consumption. Its strong neodymium magnets and silencer increase efficiency, cooling quickly without wasting energy, while keeping vibration and noise to a minimum.

Samsung's new WindFree™ range uses innovative technologies to bring new levels of comfort to any space - so you can experience maximum comfort no matter where or what you are doing.
AI Automatic Comfort
AI Auto Comfort introduces a smart way to live. To make life simpler and more efficient, analyze room conditions and usage patterns. Based on your preferences and the outside temperature, it automatically adjusts the temperature to optimize the room's ambient conditions, ensuring total comfort for a long period.
Motion sensor
The motion sensor (MDS) cools the house efficiently, automatically adjusting the operation of the air conditioning. If no movement is detected after 20 minutes, it will automatically switch to energy-saving WindFree™ mode, but will return to normal once operation resumes. It also allows for customized airflow direction.
SmartThings
Samsung SmartThings adds intelligence to your home. Connect, automate and manage all your Samsung and SmartThings compatible appliances and appliances with a single, easy-to-use app. After you create your SmartThings profile, the app automatically finds compatible devices.
Tri-Care Filter (Triple Action)
Keep the air purified with the Tri-Care Filter (Triple Action). Its three layers include a high-density filter that retains large particles of dust, fibers and animal hair. It also has a zeolite-coated filter that captures fine dust and helps reduce viruses, bacteria and allergens.
*ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) defines “Still Air” as air currents with speeds below 0.15 m/s without the presence of cold air currents.
*The SmartThings app is available for Android and iOS devices. Please refer to the applicable user manual/guide to ensure product compatibility with Samsung SmartThings.
*For the AI Auto Comfort feature, a Wi-Fi connection and Samsung SmartThings app account are required. The AI Automatic Comfort feature stores user data, preferences and usage patterns to suggest the most suitable options.
*Motion sensor is only available on the WindFree™ Elite model.
*Tri-Care Filter (Triple Action) has been tested by the Korean testing laboratory (FITI/KRICT) for bacteria and viruses, and the Japan testing laboratory (ITEA) for allergies. Data was determined under specific test conditions and may vary based on environmental factors. Tested on model AR13TYCABWKNST. Only available on WindFree™ Elite and Avant models.
